There are 24 Fil-am applicants for the upcoming draft but it looks like only a handful will be able to complete all the requirements.
There are actually 3 who are for sure in the draft but 11 more who already have Philippine passports are still not recognized despite their appeal. They only have a few hours to meet the requirements but chances are slim.
They still need DOJ and Bureau of Immigration recognition, even if they already have their Philippine passports. That's just the way the Board wants it, and it's only fair that they meet those requirements. Rules are rules.
But what do you think? Is it fair to still require BI and DOJ recognition when a person already has a Philippine passport? Yes it is their rule and therefore their perogative, but really... isn't a Philippine passport is recognition enough?
Just asking. No offense. Just asking.
(I know that the powers that be could chance upon this blog. Just asking)
Anyway there are 3 Filams who are in for sure
