Tips for the Free Agents

Well, I'm no expert but this might help.

I know this free agent that got picked up by the team because he's been playing ball in the gym owned and frequented by team owners. That's one great way to show how intense you could be.

Turned out well for the free agent coz' he just got picked up. ... whew!


So know where and when to strut your stuff! A lot of times, it's not the coaches you should impress. Gotta go higher in the ranks. It's crunch time fellas!




Sometimes, more than the talent that you have, you gotta play the name game. You gotta make sure that your name is often mentioned so there's "recall". Seriously, this is like running a political campaign. The free agency is tough. Apart from all the rookies not picked up, you have all these players that were not renewed.


I know that there are a lot of free agents following this tip that's why they're busting their behinds playing in those pick up games. Some are playing for fun, they're playin like their lives depend on it. And that's pretty much true.
